Requirements
The Be-Bound application allows users to add and use Email, Facebook, and Twitter accounts; get news, weather; find local points of interest, and access other favorite apps: real-time stock exchange, currency converter, translator, flight tracker, GPS navigation - all built-in.
Be-Bound Technology is the ultimate solution to staying connected, no matter the network quality. As long as you can make a call or send a text message, Be-Bound will switch to its proprietary data mode to send requests to servers to get the required information and compress the information to bring you a genuine app experience wherever you are located.
Elinext’s priority task on this project was to analyze the Be-Bound application and provide skilled Mobile Testing Analysts who can help increase the quality of the product through independent testing and judgment.
Challenges
Project challenges included the following:
- The teams worked within a tight time frame to reduce application delivery time.
- Elinext test analysts had to investigate and test some applications without the requirements.
- Elinext test analysts had to ensure that applications are delivered at the best quality.
Solution
Elinext responded promptly to the request and organized a dedicated team for all the applications of the Be-Bound system. Elinext Mobile Testing Analysts analyzed and tested the applications with a minimum idle time.
Results
Elinext Mobile Test Analysts managed to analyze the applications and find more than 105 defects, among which were about 10% of blocking & critical defects. Elinext Mobile Test Analysts run more than 1500 test cases supported with the Exploratory Testing. All the defects and configuration problems were documented in detail and explained to the customer. The applications were tested and successfully deployed on live servers.
