Requirements
Elinext team of mobile developers was to develop an application to generate One Time Passwords (OTP).
Challenge
The main challenge in this project was to develop a rather complicated and complex logic of OTP generation. Besides that, the application had to be developed for three platforms. It means that the application including the encryption mechanism had to be developed for iPhone and then ported to Android and BlackBerry.
Solution
First, an iPhone app was developed and later ported to Android and BlackBerry. The successful implementation of the development was possible owing to the combination of professional project management, high-quality development, profound experience in app porting, and robust quality assurance
Results
The outcome of the development is an easy-to-use application capable of generating One Time Passwords – a key element of the app security system with password protection. The application works on iPhone, Android, and Blackberry.
